CUMULUS MEDIA ANNOUNCES MATT PINFIELD TO HOST “FLASHBACK”

RADIO HOST BEGINS THE WEEKEND OF JANUARY 20TH

New York, January 6, 2012 -- Cumulus Media announces award-winning radio broadcaster Matt Pinfield will host “Flashback,” a classic rock show featuring music, newscasts, TV and movie clips from the '60s, '70s and '80s, on weekends for 219 Cumulus radio stations worldwide. Mr. Pinfield, know for his energetic personality and storytelling ability, begins hosting the weekend of January 20th.

“It’s an honor to take over the legendary show ‘Flashback’ and join the Cumulus family who I’ve admired for so long,” Pinfield said. “With my lifelong love affair of all things rock and roll history, it’s the perfect fit for my knowledge and passion.”

Pinfield brings more than 20 years of experience in the radio broadcast industry as a disc jockey, interviewer and host. Pinfield is most well known for his time hosting MTV’s “120 Minutes again” and “The Buzz” on WXRK New York. Most recently, Pinfield returned to MTV to bring back his signature show with a new name, “MTV2’s 120 Minutes with Matt Pinfield.”

Benztown will take over production and creative development for “Flashback,” marking the first joint venture for a syndicated program between Cumulus and the production company.
