CUMULUS MEDIA NETWORKS ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF
"THE MIKE HUCKABEE SHOW" ON MORE THAN 180 RADIO STATIONS

DALLAS, April 9, 2012 – Cumulus Media Networks, with more than 4,000 affiliate radio stations reaching 121 million listeners, announces that former Governor Mike Huckabee's highly anticipated "The Mike Huckabee Show" debuts today on more than 180 stations nationwide. The show airs live from noon to 3 pm ET, offering radio listeners a new voice in the conservative political talk landscape. The first show will feature Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

“We've been overwhelmed by the interest from radio stations and listeners from coast-to-coast eager for Governor Huckabee to begin his daily show, and we're so pleased this exciting day is now here,” said John Dickey, co-Chief Operating Officer of Cumulus Media.

“I've spent the last couple of months gearing up and talking to listeners about the kind of talk radio they want -- more conversation, less confrontation. Let's get started with that!” Huckabee said.

Renee Bakos will be joining “The Mike Huckabee Show” as Executive Producer.  Bakos has produced news and talk for KGO, San Francisco and was the Executive Producer for the KSRO Morning News.  In LA, she helped produce “The Fred Thompson Show,” was a producer at Premiere Radio Networks and Executive Producer of “Travel and Go” on XM.

Veteran radio producer Joey Salvia joins the show as Technical Director/Creative Director having produced for both Fox News and ESPN Radio in NYC.

As Call Screener, Casey Acevedo brings her experience producing “The Dave and Geri Morning Show” on WLHT in Grand Rapids, “Dan Tooker in the Morning” at KZMG in Boise and the nationally syndicated night show “Your Time with Kim Iverson” for Entercom.

This is Huckabee’s first daily radio show. He will continue to offer Cumulus Media Network stations his three daily commentaries that currently run on more than 500 stations. Huckabee will also continue in his prominent role as a host and contributor on Fox News Channel.

Huckabee served as governor of Arkansas from 1996-2007 and is the author of nine books. After his campaign for the Republican nomination for president in 2008, in which Huckabee finished second to John McCain, he formed HuckPac to assist Conservative Republicans running for office nationwide and has amassed a volunteer team with thousands of activists in all 50 states.

“The Mike Huckabee Show” will feature guests debating Huckabee on a broad array of topics and will also feature listener calls. The show will initially launch in 20 markets, including at least two top 10 markets, and significant expansion is expected. Huckabee will also host a series of live radio “Town Hall” events around the country that feature audiences discussing the issues and topics dominating the public agenda.
